Costa Viola by bike: from Scilla to Palmi

A route by the sea over the Strait, among terraces, vineyards and the best sunsets on the coast.

You start from Scilla and follow the coast north, with the Strait on your left and Sicily ahead. You pass Bagnara, the nougat town, and reach Palmi, on the terrace of the Tonnara.

The route has short but steep climbs: it suits a road or touring bike with low gears, better still an electric one.

Good to know before you go
